Q: What are the time limits for a performance?

A:  It depends on what you need and who is scheduled.  If you only want to play for 10 minutes we can squeeze you in a spot or if you have an hours worth of material we may be able to accommodate that as well.  Send us an email and let us know how long you think you will need and we will try to work with you.

Q:  Can anyone play on Global Mic?

A:  Yes, anyone can play. 

Q:  Do I get paid if I play on Global Mic?

A:  No, you do not get paid directly from us.  However we do give you the opportunity to link to your private page where you can sell merchandise if you wish. 

Q:  What times are available to play? 

A:  Check out our calendar.  Times vary depending on the date.  If you want more information or to play a specific time, contact us.

Q:  I am learning to play the guitar but I am not very good can I still play on Global Mic?

A:  Yes, if you'd play at a real coffee house or open mic then your welcome here

Q:  Will my performaces be recorded and put on the website?

A:  No, they will only be available at certain times.  We stream all of our content so they will not be available for download.  Each artist has the opportunity to put their performances on their personal pages for download if they wish. 

Q:  If I perform on Global Mic how can I tell other people what time I will be on?

A:  Myspace, mass email, the schedule on Global Mic, in person, and any other way you can think of.
